PEX pipe(tube or tubing) is ideal for plumbing projects

any place traditional copper pipe is used. Easily pulled through wood-framed
walls, floor joists and ceilings, PEX is the preferred choice of builders
and contractors for overhead plumbing applications.
Made from cross-linked polyethylene, PEX tubing provides
excellent chemical and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for
harsh water conditions and aggressive environments. The pinhole leaks
and premature failures that plague traditional metal piping systems
are eliminated forever.
